Secondly if for instance your dealt a face card or two faces cards but different values, keep the face cards. Unless of course you have 3 of a kind or a better hand. Please keep in mind that unlike jacks or better for instance your aiming to gain 4 of a kind with face value cards which pay-out higher video poker odds.
